Our nearest airport is ANCONA Falconara at just over one hour from our hotel venue.

It’s possible to fly directly to Ancona from Athens, Brussels-Charleroi, Dusseldorf-Weeze (seasonal), London Stansted, Milan-Linate, Munich, Paris-Orly, Rome-Fiumicino, Split.

If you’re coming from further afield the best option is to fly directy to Munich and then take the short 40 minute hop from Munich to Ancona on Lufthansa and/or its partners – Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines.

Ancona train station is NOT at the same location as Ancona airport. The name of the train station at the airport is Castelferretti-Falconara Aeroporto.

Alternatively there is a bus service from Ancona train station to the airport www.conerobus.it/en/transport/aerobus-raffaello/. OR there are plenty of taxis outside the station.

It’s around a 25 minute taxi ride from Ancona station to the airport.

Coming from Rome

If you prefer to fly to Rome and spend some time there before coming to us there is currently the option to fly from Rome FCO to Ancona airport with the airline DAT Airlines .

There is a train which departs from Rome Termini at 9:30am / Rome Tiburtina at 9:38 and arrives at 1:08pm (with no changes) at the station of Casetelferretti-Falconara Aeroporto at Ancona airport https://www.trenitalia.com/

Alternatively, you can take the bus from Rome airport or Rome Triburtina bus station to Pedaso where we offer a pickup fon the way from the airport. Pedaso is a 30 minute ride to the hotel. By Car

Take the A14 motorway either heading towards Bologna if coming from the south or Pescara / Bari if coming from the north.
Take the Pedaso exit and turn southbound (Pescara)onto the SS16.
Turn right at the first set of traffic lights following the signs towards Comunanza on the Val d’Aso provincial 238 road.
Continue following the signs towards Comunanza and after around 25 minutes you will see a sign for Montelparo.
Take this right turn and at the t-junction at the top turn left towards Montelparo and Santa Vittorio in Mantenano. At the roundabout take the right turn towards Montelparo.
At the next roundabout take the exit towards Centro (& piazza for parking).
When you reach the piazza follow the signs to the Hotel.

By Car From Ancona Airport

Depending on where you car hire is, but you need to take the road up the ramp onto the overpass from the roundabout.
After 1km take the left hand fork towards SS16 Pesaro Ancona and A14 Bologa – Taranto.
Shortly after joining the dual carriageway (800m) take the exit for Chiaravalle A14 Bologna – Taranto.
At the roundabout go straight across taking you to the toll booths.
Head towards a “biglietto” toll booth – preferably the one on the left and take the biglietto (ticket) from the machine.
Exit the toll and as the road forks in front of you take the LEFT fork towards PESCARA.
After 40 mins (75km) take the Pedaso exit off the A14 and take the slip road to the right immediately after the toll booth (Campofilone and Communanza)
Merge and turn right at the first set of traffic lights following the signs towards Comunanza on the Val d’Aso provincial 238 road.
Continue following the signs towards Comunanza and after around 25 minutes you will see a sign for Montelparo.
Take this right turn and at the t-junction at the top turn left towards Montelparo and Santa Vittorio in Mantenano.
At the roundabout take the right turn towards Montelparo.
At the next roundabout take the exit towards Centro (& piazza for parking).
When you reach the piazza follow the signs to the Hotel.

Parking

As we are situated in the historic centre of the town we have a limited number of dedicated parking spaces which are available only to guests who are staying in the hotel.

Additional free parking is available in the central piazza of Montelparo which is a one minute walk away.

Guests are advised to drive to the main entrance of the hotel to drop off their luggage and then to proceed to the piazza if the dedicated parking spaces are unavailable.
