Painting Retreat with Richard Claremont

24th May – 31st May 2024

&

31st May – 7th June 2024

The aim of the workshop with Richard Claremont is to produce expressive and confident work based on initial knowledge of solid principles.  Together with his teaching wife Kerrie, Richard Claremont’s workshops are a combination of demonstrations, exercises, individual feedback and group discussion.

Richard’s philosophy of teaching is that individual progress is paramount.  Personal advise and guidance is always based on the student’s expressed needs and his aim is to build on the student’s natural abilities.  Richard’s strength is his insight and expertise with analysing student work and providing a way  forward for each person and each painting.
Richard will be demonstrating his painting techniques in acrylics and oils, but you are free to bring your preferred medium.
