Deposits & Cancellations

Deposits – all bookings require a non-refundable €500 deposit for whatever reason.

Final Balance – the balance is due eight weeks before the date of arrival. If booking within the eight week period the full balance is due at the time of booking.

Insurance – we strongly advise that you take out appropriate insurance against any circumstances that may cause you to change your arrangements. It is the responsibility of each guest to arrange adequate insurance.

We’re delighted to partner with Allianz Global Assistance to offer an insurance to cover either your deposit for just a few extra €’s or your full trip by adding their Booking Protection insurance to protect your stay.

Cancellation by You

If you cancel:

8 weeks priors to arrival a full refund less the non-refundable deposit is payable
4 to 8 weeks before the date of arrival a 40% refund less the non-refundable deposit is payable
from 2 to 4 weeks before the date of arrival a 20% refund less the non-refundable deposit is payable
Up to 2 weeks from the date of arrival 100% of the total cost is payable
all cancellations incur a €75 admin fee

Cancellation by Us

HOTEL LEONE reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any retreat / holiday if the minimum number of participants for the event has not been met within 60 days of the date of arrival. We will endeavour not to cancel a holiday unless absolutely necessary or events occur beyond our control but we do reserve the right to do so.

If a tutor is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, illness or accident we reserve the right to use another suitable tutor.

We strongly advise guests to buy refundable flight tickets. In the (unlikely) event that we cancel a retreat / holiday, please note that no refunds will be made on your flights or any related fees in case of cancellation by us or by you.
